Discover the Heart

These characters from Kingdom Hearts video game are conversing with Jesus much as disciples might, for there are many religious references in the game. The cloaks turned out better than I had expected in using color tools and the opacity tool in Photoshop. Creating the zippers is tedious, to be sure, but it's worth the effect. Although most of it turned out nicely, my favorite features are Axel's and Xemnas' hair, as well as the sitar. I regret that, in the process of doing contrast and proper lighting, Xemnas' individual fingers are hard to see...but you kind of run into that problem when every inch of him is covered in black.

All the characters were drawn on paper first, then scanned into a Mac and colored and detailed in Photoshop with no particular special effect.

The secret to discovering the heart is inscribed on the cross around which the interested members of Organization XIII of the game are gathered.

Now that's what I call a Christian Organization.
